Well, here I am.
I am balanced left & right brain, born an artistic dreamer with a deep curiosity for the Mind and the Spirit. I’ve spent my entire lifetime (so far) exploring the overlap of spirituality, creativity, culture and business. I feel called to guide and support humans in getting reacquainted with their personal power through vulnerable, illuminating and educational personal development practices and spiritual integration methods.
Simply put, I have a knack for seeing the big picture — physically, energetically, spiritually and creatively — and inspiring + managing the evolutionary process of manifesting BIG ideas into reality.
Since the age of 8, I’ve been doing this work for myself. Raised in an unstable and dysfunctional home (who hasn’t!?), I was always intrigued by our family dynamics, patterns and governing subculture. A gifted sensitive, I became even more hyperaware of my surroundings, both seen and unseen, through my Pentecostal Christian upbringing. Over the years, I began researching, mapping and remembering humans’ spiritual abilities through metaphysical studies, plant medicine, psychotherapy, trance work, Reiki and other supernatural and occult techniques and theories, coupled with my human behavior, social work and sociology professional trainings.
I chose to channel my curiosities of people, culture and disfunction through my creativity mind and drive for money and chose to go into advertising as a career. Little Ash really really wanted to have great impact in the world, have fun meeting amazing folks and make a lot of money. But after 10 years as a shining and quickly rising star in the industry, I found myself broke, depressed and feeling like life had no real purpose beyond working hard and feeling miserable for money. What I thought I loved stole my identity and consumed my life. I suffered from anxiety from the demands of the industry and was mentally and emotional unstable with all the microaggressions experience as a woman of color in a white male dominated world. I had to go. And that’s when I returned to my creative, entrepreneurial dreams — I became a freelance makeup artist, social media and branding consultant, freelance market researcher and co-founder of a small digital production company.
I began to find my breath and spirit again.
But it wasn’t until I moved to Bali that things really clicked in, amplified and my work began to take shape in a much deeper way. There, I took over and ran over 40 women’s healing and personal development retreats with women coming from all over the world and of many different backgrounds, traumas and needs — many of which were going through their own moments of career reconcile.
Fast forward to now, I am trained, certified in and an initiate of a few traditions including Balinese Hindu purification and healing (Ibu Jero, Pak Bagus), family constellation, Reiki Master Level (Sandra St. Yves, Chasity Millen for level 2, Equilibrium Energy + Education for level 1), Quantum manipulations and manifestations (Sandra St. Yves), elemental healing, ritual and ceremonial communion (Malidoma Somé via Liv Mokai Wheeler, Ibu Jero), ancestralization and ancestral healing medicine (Malidoma Somé, my own Ancestors), Hoodoo (my own Ancestors, Guides, Water Spirits, Whale beings and Celestials, and community Elders and teachers throughout my life: Elder Kenneth R. Collins, Dr. Estella Boyd, Mother Harris, and so many more), human behavior insight mining + research, and psychosynthesis coaching (PsychoSpiritual Institute / The Synthesis Center), to name a few.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and Entrepreneurial Marketing from Murray State University, graduating Cum Laude and with the honor of Outstanding Senior. And I can’t even begin to list the number of books, online programs, courses, workshops and group masterminds I’ve invested in…gratitude to those experiences and wisdoms as well.
My learning continues as I believe teachers are also always students.
