what can happen when you take a breath

A lot can happen in the moment of a breath.

You can open the email you’ve been dreading. The phone can ring to break your concentration. Someone can tell you the news you’ve been waiting on for a long time.

But when you intentionally stop to take a breath or five, a lot more can happen.

Go ahead, right now.

Take a moment to have 5 breaths.

Every time you breathe out, focus on the energy around you. Notice where it’s coming from, feel its impact. Then as you breathe back in, call that energy back to you.

Stay like this for a moment.

Because this is the moment where you can feel where your energy leaks are. Where your power lies or doesn't. This is where you’ll be able to tap into what you desire from your experiences. This is where you can put down all the things you’ve listed on your to-do list and be wholly present for what you want.

This is the moment your ancestors have been waiting for.

When you walk through life with cycling patterns that have been keeping you from this kind of clarity, it’s important to take the time out to reflect on it and search for the answers as to why those cycles are on wash, rinse, repeat even when you’ve tried to break them.

Those answers have been there all along, within your ancestors and within their stories.
